§ Mr. MARKHAMasked the Minister of Health when the inter-departmental committee which is considering warmth and comfort in buildings is expected to produce its report; and whether he will require the committee to include in the report specific reference to humidity as a factor in comfort and fitness?
§ Mr. R. MacDONALDI have been asked to reply. Investigations are promoted by the Medical Research Council and the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research on the advice of the Joint Committee on Research in Heating and Ventilation, and reports on such investigations are published from time to time. A report dealing with the warmth factor in comfort at work will shortly be issued. The Joint Committee already has the humidity factor under consideration in its general programme.
