§ Mr. SHAKESPEAREI would draw my hon. Friend's attention to the answer given to my hon. Friend the Member for Rushcliffe (Mr. Assheton) on this subject on the 30th April, of which I am sending him a copy. I will also send him a copy of the circular mentioned in that answer, in which attention is drawn to the principles by which local authorities should be guided in granting licences.
