Mr. COOPERAn army officer promoted from the ranks and eligible to retire voluntarily after 15 years reckonable service would be awarded retired pay of £135 15s. per annum. The conditions of retirement of Naval and Air Force officers are on a different basis from the conditions of retirement of Army officers and no direct comparison can be made.
