§ Mr. ELLIOTA statement of Government policy in regard to the report of the Royal Commission on Tithe Rentcharge was published as a White Paper on 28th February (Cmd. 5102). As indicated in paragraph 23 of the White Paper, it is the Government's intention to introduce the necessary legislation as soon as possible.
