Mr. THOMASIn Uganda a successful programme of water boring has been1248W carried out in the northern part of the Protectorate since January, 1931, and this work is being continued and extended. Similar successful work has been carried out in the Tanga and Morogoro Districts of Tanganyika, and further extensive water-boring operations are about to be begun in the Territory.
