Mr. CHAMBERLAINExcise wine licences cannot legally be limited to the sale of medicated wines, and the Excise licence held by the trader concerned in the present case was issued on payment of the full rate of licence duty and authorised the sale of any wines, whether medicated or not. The question is, therefore, not one for the Revenue.
