HC Deb 03 March 1936 vol 309 c1205W
Mr. DAVIDSON

asked the Minister of Pensions what is the total number of ex-Service men's pensions disallowed or reduced since 1931?

Mr. HUDSON

During the four years ended December, 1935, the assessment of disablement was reduced in approximately 6,650 cases, and increased in some 8,500 cases. The net result of the review was an increase of the average rate of assessment for pension purposes by 8.8 per cent.
