§ Lieut.-Colonel MUIRHEADUp to 6th June approximately 540,000 agricultural workers who became insurable under the Unemployment Insurance (Agriculture) Act, 1936, had applied for and received unemployment books. In addition there is a number, at present unknown, of persons, following agricultural occupations, who on account of other insurable employment were already in possession of current unemployment books.
