§ Mr. EDENHis Majesty's representative at Peking has reported the receipt of information to the effect that the Hopei-Chahar Political Council had on 23rd May issued an order designating the Hopei Provincial Bank the sole bank of issue for Hopei. This information has not as yet been officially confirmed.
