§ Mr. BATEYasked the Minister of Labour whether he can give a list of the advisory committees set up in the county of Durham, with the names of the members of the committees?
§ Mr. E. BROWNNine local advisory committees are being set up by the Unemployment Assistance Board to serve the County of Durham. With the hon. Member's permission I will circulate in the OFFICIAL REPORT a table showing the areas allocated to each of these committees and the names of the chairmen. Substantial progress has been made in the appointment of the members of all these committees, but it has not yet reached a stage at which it would be proper to publish a list except in the cases of the committees for the County Borough of Darlington and district, for the Hartlepools and for Middlesbrough, for which lists will be also circulated.
