§ Brigadier-General SPEARSasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, in the negotiations for a Straits Convention for the Dardanelles, His Majesty's Government will make it clear that it is their policy to support the principle of collective security in the Mediterranean and the Black Sea, and that they will co-operate with those naval Powers which desire to ensure that any Convention which may be concluded will not prevent them from going to the assistance of the victim of an act of aggression?
