Member for Stratford, are not treated by his Department as coming within the scope of the Act 39 and 40 Vic., c. 77?
§ Mr. LLOYDThe Act 39 and 40 Vic., c. 77, regulates the performance on living animals of experiments calculated to cause pain. I am advised that the purpose for which the dogs were used was not an experiment calculated to cause pain and consequently was not within the scope of the Act.
