§ Mr. HORE-BELISHAThe average costs per mile of maintaining classified roads in counties are given in Appendix 14 to the Reports on the Administration of the Road Fund. The rates of grant from the Road Fund towards this expenditure are 60 per cent. for Class I roads and 50 per cent. for Class II roads. Class I roads in the figures given include trunk roads.
