§ Mr. JAGGERasked the Minister of Labour whether he will estimate the saving in unemployment allowances that would take place if all children reaching 14 years in 1936 and 1937 were kept at school until they reached 16 years of age; and will he consider the advisability of establishing a scheme whereby continued attendance at school should be considered as part of a training scheme under which parents would qualify for a maintenance grant?
