Mr. MITCHELLasked the Postmaster-General whether, before reducing the charges for inland trunk calls during the day, he will ensure that adequate additional lines have been provided, with a view to preventing any hindrance to business calls such as would be caused by congestion resulting from such reduced fees in any way equal to that which followed the recent reduction in the fees for trunk calls after 7 p.m.?
