(3) the number of coal-cutting machines and conveyors in use in Lancashire and Cheshire in each of the last 10 years, including 1936?

The information is as follows:

Jews have been shot since the Arabs officially withdrew their active forces from Palestine; and whether any and, if so, what arrests have been made in connection with these shootings?

I am not clear as to the date intended by the right hon. Member in the first part of the question. As I informed him on 17th November, civilian casualties reported for the period 13th October to 14th November included one Jew killed. I have no later figures nor information as to arrests in respect of the period referred to.
