HC Deb 21 April 1936 vol 311 cc34-5W
Mr. DAY

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he has had any recent complaints as to the question of seamen signing on at foreign ports on British ships and alleging that they are of British nationality; and will he give particulars?

Mr. RUNCIMAN

I have received no recent complaints, but if the hon. Member has particular cases in mind and will give me details, I will make inquiries.
