HC Deb 09 April 1936 vol 310 c2951W
Mr. HOLLAND

asked the Minister of Health whether he is aware that many of the stations where public assistance is administered in the county of Derby comprise only one room for the use of the officer in the administrations of his duty and applicants are expected to wait in the open street, exposed both to inclement weather and the public gaze; and will he take steps to have the grievance adjusted?

Sir K. WOOD

I am making inquiries into this matter and will communicate with the hon. Member as soon as possible.
