asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he can furnish an estimate of the production of eggs in the United Kingdom in 1931 and 1935, respectively; and what proportion of our total consumption was in each year represented by United Kingdom production?

The estimated production of eggs in the United Kingdom amounted to 4,212 million eggs in 1931 and 4,614 million in 1935, representing 58 per cent. and 66 per cent. respectively of the total consumption of eggs in shell in those years.
