§ Colonel ROPNERasked the Minister of Agriculture what is the present position with regard to the negotiations with Dominion and foreign Governments on the subject of meat imports into this country?
Major DAVIESThese negotiations were adjourned at the end of July pending a visit of one of the Argentine 355W representatives to Buenos Aires for consultation with his Government. This representative is expected to arrive back in this country next month. It is then hoped to resume the negotiations.
