I should like to call attention to the fact that very considerable progress has been made in the last year with the question of contributions in arrears.

A sub-committee was set up by the 1934 Assembly to conclude arrangements with States in arrears. As a result of this sub-committee's efforts cash payments have been received in certain cases and in nine other cases, namely:

The sub-committee is continuing its work and will report to the Assembly of 1936.
