Captain WALLACEIt is the responsibility of chief officers of Police to enforce the law and I have no doubt that they are fully aware of their responsibility and, so far as their available resources will permit, are taking energetic measures to ensure that the law is observed. But this is a matter in which much depends upon the co-operation of all drivers of motor vehicles, if full effect is to be given to the measures which Parliament has enacted for the purpose of securing greater safety on the roads. I hope this co-operation will be forthcoming.
