§ Mr. COOPERThe only years during the period in question for which figures have been collected are 1923, 1924,1926 and 1931, for which the contributions referred to amounted to approximately £55,000,000, £50,000,000,£46,000,000 and £25,000,000 respectively. These amounts represented respectively about 10, 9.5, 9.5, and 5.6 percent. of the expenditure on Imperial services in the years in question.
