HC Deb 28 March 1935 vol 299 cc2090-1W
Mr. GROVES

asked the Minister of Health the number of cases entering the Birmingham City Infectious Diseases Hospital as diphtheria in each of the years 1930, 1931, 1932, 1933, and 1934; how many of these were re-diagnosed as some other disease; and how many were re-diagnosed as tonsillitis?

Sir. H. YOUNG

The following is the information furnished by the local authority on this subject:

Diseases Hospital; and, if so, for how many years are they available?

Sir H. YOUNG

According to information which I have received from the local authority, classified records of the illnesses of nurses in the Birmingham City Infectious Diseases Hospital are available for the years 1932 and 1933, and are set out in the Medical Officer of Health's annual reports for those years. Classified records for 1934 are not yet available.
