§ Sir W. SUGDENasked the Minister of Labour whether he will issue as a White Paper the results of the findings by his Department of the researches upon industrial fatigue, and say if, as a result of proposed new methods and conditions, either the number of hours of labour may be reduced or the periods of labour adjusted, and yet with increased output in the industries of textile, mechanical engineering, and general building trades?
Mr. HUDSONResearches into this subject are not being conducted by the Ministry of Labour, but reports are published from time to time by the Industrial Health Research Board. Perhaps my hon. Friend would be good enough to speak to me.
