HC Deb 05 July 1935 vol 303 c2138W
Mr. RHYS DAVIES

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty what countries were, or are to be, represented at any naval manœuvres or reviews this year, stating the number and category of officers in each case.

Sir B. EYRES MONSELL

No foreign warships will be present at the Review at Spithead, nor will any foreign officers be on board His Majesty's Ships, unless in the capacity of private guests. The Naval attachés, as part of the Diplomatic Corps, will be His Majesty's Government's guests at the Review and will be accommodated in one of the guest ships. No foreign officers have attended, or are expected to attend any manœuvres or exercises this year.
