§ Mr. E. BROWNThe latest date for which particulars of the numbers insured, in this age-group, are at present available is the year 1932. From the results of a sample inquiry of 1 in 300 of the insured population it was estimated that the numbers of persons between the ages of 60 and 65 years, insured against unemployment at July, 1932, were approximately 428,000 men and 35,000 women, of whom about 137,000 men and 6,000 women
