HC Deb 22 February 1935 vol 298 cc689-90W
Dr. O'DONOVAN

asked the Home Secretary whether he will make a, statement with regard to the representations made within the past 12 months to his Department from His Majesty's judges or from other sources commenting adversely upon the working of private detective agencies?

Sir J. GILMOUR

I cannot find that any representations on this subject have at any time been made to the Home Office by His Majesty's judges. The only representations of this kind which I have received during the last 12 months have been made by the British Detectives' Association.
