§ Mr. HORE-BELISHADuring the 39 weeks ended 7th December, 1935, as compared with the same weeks of last year, the number of deaths resulting from road accidents decreased by 18 per cent. in city and town police areas and by 8.1 per cent. in county police areas. The corresponding percentage reductions in the numbers of persons injured were 8 and 2.6 respectively.
