§ Mr. BROMFIELDasked the Minister of Health whether instructions have been issued to medical practitioners to inform the coroner of fatal cases of post-vaccinal encephalitis or cases of death from any cause occurring within a short period after vaccination; and, if not, will he consider the desirability of issuing such instructions?
§ Sir K. WOODThe answer to the first part of the question is in the negative. I have no power to issue such instructions and I do not think they are necessary because arrangements are already in operation whereby all death certificates on which a reference is made to vaccination are submitted to my Department for examination.
