Mr. TEMPLE MORRISasked the President of the Board of Trade whether his attention has been called to the pending suspension of the service of Empire ships between Australia and New Zealand and San Francisco; and whether, in view of the growing competition between the British liner trade and the liner trade of foreign countries, he proposes to investigate the causes with a view to adopting remedial measures?
