Member for Bow and Bromley (Mr. Lansbury) on the 9th December casual Christmas gifts will not be taken into account by the board's officers in the assessment of allowances. In the applicants' own interests, however, in order to avoid misunderstanding their proper course is to report cash receipts of this kind as directed on the form.
