§ Mr. POTTERasked the Minister of Agriculture whether, having regard to the dissatisfaction which exists at the present time in relation to the proposed further expenditure by the Lancashire and Western Sea Fisheries Joint Committee of the sum of £27,000 in respect of a new fisheries protection steamer, he will cause an inquiry to be made into the necessity for such expenditure in view of the fact that the Board have now a number of well-equipped modern patrol vessels which can quite effectively deal with all matters of fishery protection in the area covered by this joint committee?
