§ Sir G. COLLINSThe proposals contained in the report, which raises many important questions of policy, are continuing to receive my consideration in consultation with other Ministers concerned. As regards the second part of the question, I trust that the Attested Herds Scheme under Section 9 of the Milk Act, 1934, will have the effect of encouraging the eradication of tuberculosis from dairy herds. I can assure my hon. Friend that the Government attach great importance to the problem of dealing with this and other diseases of cattle.
