§ Lieut.-Colonel COLVILLEAn account of the Turkish Government's five-year industrial plan, which contemplates amongst other things the development of textile industries in Turkey, is contained in the Commercial Secretary's "Report on Economic Conditions in Turkey" which was published last June by the Department of Overseas Trade. As regards the second part of the question, I am afraid that I am not able to estimate what effect the development of a Turkish textile industry is likely to have on the textile industries of this country.
