§ Sir J. GILMOURDuring the week from 30th September to 6th October there were 27 deaths from motor accidents in the Metropolitan Police District. Proceedings for dangerous and careless 1981W driving have been instituted in two of these cases, but the charges have not yet been heard. In two other cases the question of proceedings is still under consideration.
