Sir B. EYRES MONSELLDredging in Portsmouth Harbour is carried out as necessary to maintain the berths and channels at the depths considered adequate for the safe berthing and passage of His Majesty's ships. The work is normally done by Admiralty craft, manned by employés of the Department.
