HC Deb 06 November 1934 vol 293 c847W
Mr. MANDER

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs the present position with regard to the obligations undertaken by Poland at the time of the Peace Treaties with regard to minorities within her borders; and whether she is still bound by these treaties and intends to respect them?

Mr. EDEN

Poland remains bound in this matter by the provisions of Article 93 of the Treaty of Versailles, by the Treaty between the United States, the British Empire, France, Italy, Japan and Poland, signed at Versailles on 28th June, 1919, and by subsequent resolutions of the League Council accepted by Poland.
