Mr. THOMASUp to 31st March, 1934, the amount collected under the Irish Free State (Special Duties) Act was £6,484,240, and the amount of the payments withheld by the Irish Free State £9,673,995. During the current financial year the amount collected under the Special Duties Act for the six months ending 29th September, 1934, is £1,870,669, and the amount withheld by the Irish Free State in respect of those six months is £2,357,379.
