§ Mr. RUNCIMANThis question was examined by the Government of the day in 1930 having regard to the provisions of the convention which contemplated a conference in that year to introduce modifications. It was further examined by the present Government in 1932, and has since been under continuous review. As regards the last part of the question, I cannot add to the answer I gave to the hon. Member for East Dorset (Mr. Hall-Caine) on 27th February last.
