Mr. STANLEYThe Westminster City Council, who are responsible for these roads, inform me that they have received no complaint of their condition, and that special treatment is not considered necessary, as grit is applied when climatic conditions tend to make the sur-2152W face slippery. I will, however, ask the council to examine my hon. Friend's suggestion.
