§ Captain DOWERasked the Minister of Transport if his attention has been drawn to the presence of wireless receiving sets in motor-cars; and, in view of the danger of distracting the drivers from attending to the road, does he intend to introduce any regulations controlling this matter, as has been done in the United States of America?
Mr. STANLEYI have informed the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders that if wireless sets on motor vehicles prove to be a source of danger or of annoyance to the public, I may have to consider the prohibition or restriction of their use and I shall watch the matter carefully.
