holdings above one acre in extent in Great Britain, as returned in June, 1931, 1932 and 1933, were respectively: 829,073, 808,738 and 827,400, the latter figure being subject to revision so far as Scotland is concerned. These figures do not include farmers and persons working on their own account who were estimated 37W in connection with the Agricultural Census of 1925 to number 360,000 in Great Britain. Later figures are not yet available.
