§ Sir J. GILMOURDuring the 10 years from 1924 to 1933 inclusive, the average number of deaths per year has been 25. During the same period the number of patients who have been discharged has averaged just over 17, excluding those remitted to prison or transferred elsewhere for further treatment. The asylum can accommodate about 850 patients.
