§ Lieut.-Colonel COLVILLEMy hon. Friend is presumably referring to the declaration by the Reichsbank of 14th June, relating to medium and long-term external debts. It is not possible at this stage to state what may be the effect of this declaration on British trade with Germany, but I can assure my hon. Friend that this aspect of the question is receiving the close attention of the Government.
