HC Deb 18 June 1934 vol 291 c21W
Mr. GOLDIE

asked the Minister of Transport whether he is aware that at the public crossing outside St. Martin's-in-the-Fields Church, Trafalgar Square, stationary vehicular traffic is drawn up so as to cover the white lines laid down for the guidance of pedestrians whereby they can no longer cross the road at the appointed place; and whether, in view of the danger involved, he will take steps to restore the pedestrians their former crossing place?

Mr. STANLEY

I have not received any complaints of the nature indicated, but I will draw the attention of the Commissioner of Police to my hon. Friend's question.
