§ Mr. RAMSBOTHAMThe present position in this matter is that the board informed the local education authority early last month that they proposed to defer further consideration of the proposal pending a discussion between representatives of the local education authority and His Majesty's inspectors, on the functions of the Mexborough Technical Institute1094W and its educational relation to the neighouring technical college at Rotherham. No further communication has yet been received from the local education authority.
