§ Mr. ELLIOTThe Import Duties Advisory Committee frequently asks the Ministry for information regarding particular commodities which are under consideration by the Committee. With regard to the second part of my hon. Friend's question, I would remind him that the Committee was created to advise the Government, and it would not be proper for Ministers to tender advice to the Committee.
