§ Mr. THORNEasked the Minister of Transport if he can give any information to the House in regard to the accident that occurred when a bridge collapsed over the Avon at Temple Meads, Bristol; and the number of persons injured and the cause of the accident?
§ Mr. HORE-BELISHAI am informed that on 26th July, while the bridge in question was being demolished, an arch collapsed and fell into the river, and six persons were injured. The adjacent public highway was not affected.
