§ Sir G. COLLINSThe committee which has been set up to investigate and report on this subject is at present carrying out tests with different types of machines designed to eradicate bracken. A demonstration test was carried out last week with cutting machines and a spraying machine. A further test by spraying from the air will take place very shortly. When the tests are completed and the effects can be fully judged, the committee will report their conclusions on the subject.
